The Address in "Satynarayan katha "

 In our religion .. there is a convention to perform some spiritual ceremonies Satynarayan katha is the most common and popular ritual among them.. few years ago in Mohalla culture there has to be common invitation to all residing person.. I have  also enjoyed the Mohalla culture.. in those days in my childhood I severely attended the said ceremonies with my Mom .. Two and half decades ago cable connection was a luxury for some person and for some it was the question for Affordable or not.. so people engaged in so many spiritual practices like Bhajan kirtan  katha pathan etc.  So on day of ekadasi poornima or Birth ceremonies of children Satynarayan katha popularly organised by the hosts... Me and Mohalla collegues  were to be excited for  Prasad of Panchamrit and Wheat floor.. we never heard Pijja pasta etc.. 

  The Punditji become engaged in katha wachan after performing Gaury Ganesha puje.  Now I am not going to boare you becsa all of u know the story of Lilawathi kalawathi and sadhu baniya and the king...  ..as  I inclined towards spirituality but never read the original book but it mapped in my mind. Decades after decades these spiritual stories are been in practices... but hardly we analyse these stories .

What I learnt from Satynarayan katha?

If  we analyse it  we find there are some important charactors  Sadhu Baniya and his Son -in -law  .. the son in law of Sadhu Baniya didn't have any issue..so his mother in law promised to Lord Satynarayan.. oh Almighty God please bless my daughter with a child..I shall perform Your katha at my home.. She made this promise after hearing Satynarayan katha at neighbours house. 

According to katha her daughter gave birth to nice baby girl..and their  busines also florished they became more wealthy and busy that the didn't have time to worship even they continewly avoid the promise .. what happened after this you know welly..

The another side of the society there is also an existence of atheist persons  who negatively enjoyed such stories because of non researching tendencies of the Theist who have been read only book on the ground of "BABA WAKYAM PRAMANAM" yess this can be hurt you but this is the truth!!!! Nobody knows Really God Satynarayan took revenge from them?  

I think no because All of the Bhakti Saints propounded the Loving form of Almighty God We often call him Parmeshwar or Ishwar so how HE he could so ... I attended the Satynarayan katha ceremonies at many places mostly there was a Marriage .. Marriage is also a Emo- Economic bond in two persons so Here the importance of the katha takes place.... In 5 chapters of katha the stories whirling around Cheating to Lord Satynarayan so It is the Moral responsibility of Punditji to reveal the Inner meaning of the katha Before newly married couple that they always fulfil all the promises which they committed to each other in name of holy Agni at their level best and not to cheat anybody 

I Think this was the real motto behind this ritual. The katha was to be in deep at the time and some people mostly elderly ladies caught to murmuring their domestic problems so it proved a nice source of social observations for me ..( thsese are my own thoughts )
